As we head into season 2018 we want to keep our new and returning players, families and supporters up to date on any pre-season activities. So from time to time between now and the start of next season we will send out updates - and this is the first.

Presentation Night - collect your tickets at the door
Your GV Suns 2017 Presentation Night tickets can be collected on the night at the door. If you haven't paid for your tickets we can accept cash and eftpos payments on the night. We encourage you to arrive a few minutes earlier if you need to make payment so we can ensure the evening begins on time.
2018 Junior trials from Monday 9 Oct
Our trials for season 2018 squads begin this Monday. The trials are open to anyone interested in playing National Premier League level soccer in season 2018 and we welcome new and returning players.
All attendees must wear a white t- shirt, football boots and shin guards and bring a water bottle.

Our trials will take place at different times and nights during October so please make sure you check the details and turn up for the correct session. Training for AFS Tournament
Our GV Suns AFS squads will begin training from this Thursday 12 October. We have access to the pitches from 5:30 pm and your coach will advise of the start time for your squad.
Our U15 squad will begin training a week later on Thursday 19 October.

FFV Girls Development Program @ Shepp
5pm Wednesday 11 October
The FFV's Shepparton based Regional Girls Development Program kicks off next week and will provide a dedicated development program for 8-12 year old girls from across the Goulburn Valley.
Date: Wednesday 11 Oct 2017 through to 15 Nov 2017 with a gala day on Saturday 18 November. Time: 5pm-6pm Venue: McEwen Reserve Cost: Free
The program Head Coach is also seeking volunteer female coaches to assist in the delivery of the program. Full mentor support and training will be offered. This will be a fantastic opportunity to develop your coaching.

Promotions and Relegations for 2018
In accordance with the Promotion and Relegation System Policy of Football Federation Victoria the following changes will take place for the 2018 season;
NPL 2 East
Langwarrin SC Senior Men and Junior Boys teams are promoted to NPL 2 East.
Richmond SC Senior Men and Junior Boys teams are relegated to Men’s State League 1 South East and the respective Sportsmart Junior Community Leagues (A Division).
NPL 2 West
Altona Magic SC Senior Men and Junior Boys are promoted to NPL 2 West.
Bendigo City FC Senior Men’s team is relegated to Men’s State League 1 North West. In accordance with Clause 2 of the policy, Bendigo City FC have sought to have their junior teams remain in the NPL competition because of geographical difficulties. Therefore, no Bendigo City FC junior teams will be relegated from NPL West Boys competitions.
