Eleven weekends at home!
We are a third of the way through the junior season and for at least the next two months all GV Suns junior games are at home in Shepparton - our seniors & U20s will play at home for most of these rounds too! With the SJSA season also underway it will be wall to wall soccer at McEwen Reserve with thousands of players, parents and supporters visiting Shepparton.
Hosting also means we will need your help to ensure we have marshals, linesmen and help in the canteen and set up/pack down. Rosters will be circulated each week but feel free to lend a hand where you can.
Please also note the 1 and 15 July rounds are Saturday games during the school holidays and coincide with our Seniors & U20s playing at home on the same day.

2017 Annual General Meeting
Our AGM is scheduled for Tuesday 16 May 2017 commencing at 6pm at the Peter Copulos Community Centre, Riverside Plaza. Enter via double glass doors next to Gym.
If you have ideas or views on how the Club is travelling or you would like to ask questions of the Board and committee members this is your opportunity. Its an excellent way to learn more about the Club's priorities, our off-field progress and goals for the year ahead.
Copies of the agenda and reports will be available at the meeting including our financial statements.
Goal Keeper Training - this Friday
Our specialist goal keeper training sessions are continuing. Training is Friday night this week on MP2 (next to netball courts north end)
Juniors 5.00pm - 6.00pm
Seniors 6.00pm - 7.00pm

car parking
 The East/West Boulevard road way and car parking are sealed and ready for use. There are more than 600 car parks located between the netball, hockey and soccer facilities, with connecting footpaths and designated pedestrian crossings.
Access is from the new Brauman/Packham Street roundabout and then turn right at the internal roundabout.
During May the entrance from Numurkah Road into the Basketball stadium area is closed for works.

We want GV Suns to be a friendly and welcoming club - and we want everyone to feel comfortable being a part of our family. Our FFV approved codes of conduct for spectators, players, parents, coaches and administrators are available from our website.
Please read the codes to understand your responsibilities and there is further information in the 2017 NPL Rules of Competition.

Shepparton hosts Neymar Jr's 5 Qualifier
Shepparton will host one of 38 Neymar Jr’s Five qualifier events across Australia that will decide the Australian national champions who will join 53 countries competing for the global title in Brazil.
The 2017 tournament is open to teams of five to seven players aged 16 to 25, with two over-aged players allowed as part of each squad.
Date: Sunday, 21 May 2:00 pm (GV Suns juniors have a bye)
