MINI SUNS
Mini Suns Discovery Phase
The Club’s Mini Suns program is the stepping stone for the region’s young superstars. Children will have access to some of the best coaches in our region who have previous experience working in the UK at Premier League club academies.
Our discovery phase model is made up of basic fundamental aspects of the game both with and without the ball. Focusing specifically on agility, balance, co-ordination as well as basic ball manipulation, passing and shooting skills. The youngest players of the club will concentrate on having lots of touches of the ball with a massive emphasis on fun and keeping smiles on their faces.
Discovery Phase includes:
- 30 week program x 2 sessions
- Planned and delivered by UK Coaches with over 15 years of experience
- Age groups 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 year olds
- Training kit
Expressions of Interest for the Young Suns Programme will be taken in late November.

Skills Aquisition Phase
GV Suns SAP program is a truly unique experience for up and coming players with the club combining a fantastic FFA Model with a English Football Association twist.
Our highly qualified coaches have designed 30 week program which aligns with our clubs philosophy, setting players up to play a truly unique brand of football.
During this phase of our player’s football journey on top of improving all of their discovery phase skills, players will also now touch on key aspects such as scanning, body shape, and 1v1/2v2 as well as touching on team tasks.
Principles of play and core skills will have a big focus on attack and defence and players will start to learn and make right decisions, as well as being given the perfect environment to learn from their mistakes without the pressure of winning, with development and respect our clubs key focus.
Skills Acquisition Phase includes:
- 30 week program x 2 sessions
- Planned and delivered by UK Coaches with over 15 years of experience
- Age groups 9, 10 & 11 year olds
- Training kit
Trials for the Skills Acquisition Program will be held in Mid to Late November.
