Terms & Conditions of Membership

1. APPLICATION & PURCHASE OF MEMBERSHIP
Application for membership must be lodged with the Club using the prescribed membership form and must be accompanied by the appropriate fee.

The Club reserves its right not to accept any Membership application in its absolute discretion. If you are successful in your Membership application, the Club will issue you with a numbered membership card.

2. TERM OF MEMBERSHIP
Subject to the following terms and conditions, your Club Membership will entitle you to the benefits of Club Membership from receipt of your Membership payment to 31 December 2016.

• MEMBERSHIP RESTRICTIONS & ENTITLEMENTS
  Available to persons aged 18 years or over.
  Entitles the holder to entry at all regular season GV Suns home matches, subject to safety and capacity conditions.
  Entitles the holder to vote in the Clubs’ Annual General Meeting and participate in Member Elected Board Position elections.

• MEMBERS’ PRIVACY

The GV Suns collect, hold and use your personal information for purposes including, without limitation:

• to verify your identity;
• to provide you with information about events, products and/or services that may interest you;
• to facilitate the internal business operations of the Club;
• to promote and market Club related events, products or services;
• to enable corporate partners and sponsors of the Club to market and promote their products and services to you;
• By providing your personal information you agree to such use and disclosure by the Club
• REFUND POLICY
  As a general policy, Club Memberships are non-refundable. Requests for refunds may be made in writing to the Club and are at the sole discretion of the Club’s Membership Manager.
• CANCELLATION POLICY
  The Club reserves its right to cancel a member’s Club Membership without a refund where that member is deemed by the Club to have breached these terms and conditions.
• CLUB MEMBER CODE OF CONDUCT
  While barracking and supporting your club is a vital part of the game, offensive or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated. Club Members who consume alcohol on a match day are to do so responsibly. Drunkenness will not be tolerated. Club Members who breach the behaviour code of conduct may face penalties including cancellation of Membership without refund. The Club endorses the FFA’s stance on vilification and has a zero-tolerance for members or supporters that abuse the players, supporters, or referees, on grounds of race, religion, gender and sexuality.
  All members must read and abide by the Clubs codes of conduct as provided on the GV Suns website: www.gvsuns.com.au
• VARIATION TO CLUB MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary vary the terms and conditions of Club Membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club website or email. Members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to the terms and conditions of Club Membership.
